Jammicron Technology Corp. is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider
operating in the Metro Vancouver area since 1999, providing hosted
e-commerce and content management services to retail businesses.
You will play a key role in developing Jammicron's next generation
customer service platform. You will be deeply involved in application
design, writing code to specification, devising test plans and
performing unit testing.
You will work in a development
team dedicated to building a new Rich Internet Application that will
serve as Jammicron's flagship service offering into the future. As
well, you will serve as the primary programming resource to maintain
and improve Jammicron's existing ecommerce applications.
You are strategic, with an ability to demonstrate creativity and
innovation, with an eye on the future. Exceptional communication skills
are a must. This role demands the ability to build effective working
relationships with staff and management as well as skill in evaluating
new and improved models for software architecture in an application
service provider environment. Expertise programming with PHP, Java and
C/C++ in a Linux environment required. Extensive knowledge of database
management systems, especially PostgreSQL, is necessary. You should
possess a degree in computer information systems plus three to five
years working experience.
